As the Global Leader of the Medical Device Solutions business segment, you will develop a WINNING strategy to double this business in 3-4 years, by identifying, evaluating and managing global sales and marketing opportunities. In addition, you will be influential in identifying potential acquisitions and licensing opportunities for this business segment as well as for our LifeSciences’ business unit in general.
Manage the P&L for the segment and deliver on the growth expectations
Develop and implement business strategy and track progress
Coordinate with senior management and cross functional support staff to ensure execution of business strategy and ongoing business activities
Lead, manage and develop a global team of employees to achieve global and regional growth targets
Define growth opportunities for target customer segments, new product development, and BIC countries
Create personal relationships with the decision makers at key OEMs
Partner with technical leaders to ensure proper resource allocation and prioritization, in order to commercialize market-focused products on time and within budget
Identify and develop strategic partnerships that will advance Lubrizol’s competitive positioning
Partner with senior management to define the global merger and acquisition strategy, priorities, objectives, and initiatives for LLS
15 years of commercial experience
10 years of experience developing strategies and/or business development in the medical device industry
Proven success in managing cross-functional and/or international teams
Outstanding facilitation, communication, and influence skills
Ability to travel up to 30% of the time (globally)
Considered a plus:
Masters of Business Administration / Ph.D.
Experience in a consultative role
