Summary of Responsibilities:
The purpose of this role is to develop and create additional demand for Lubrizol’s products by gaining specifications, approvals and awareness for Lubrizol’s products. Indirect Sales Managers succeed by building relationships with Lubrizol’s customers’ customers, building designers, engineers & specifiers, product users, trade associations and other companies, government entities or groups that could influence others or decide to specify and approve the use of Lubrizol’s products. The Indirect Sales Manager will manage the relationships in a territory and/or market segment(s) so that our direct customers’ sales increase through the success that this role has by creating demand through the activities they do to build successful relationships. This role is not direct sales and should be perceived by the customer as a consultant – Piping System Consultant is appropriate external job title for the TempRite business.
Create demand and collection of project information including but not limited to by organizing/participating seminar, visiting designers, cold call etc.
Follow the project through along the value chain, including developer, contractor, sub-contractor, design institute, etc.
Work closely with distributors on project winning, starting from project information till contract signing
Maintain opportunity database and projects pipeline to manage execution of key opportunities and projects
Partner with marketing to develop selling cases to communicate value proposition of projects and products with customers
Participation in trade shows, conferences and local industry association on need basis to generate demand and develop brand awareness
Provide technical suggestion/support and specification during the process of project when needed
Provide sales/ technical training to the sales team of licensees & distributors
Provide installation training to contractors/sub-contractors
Develop on-going market intelligence and research and keep abreast of competition
Skills, Qualifications, Experience, Special Physical Requirements:
Diploma (apply to Singapore) or Bachelor degree in Water Supply & Drainage or HVAC(Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning);
Minimum 3 years sales experience in polymer piping product, Fire Fighting equipment and system, while project experience will be a preference;
Minimum 3 years working experience in Fire Fighting Industry having rich connection with Local Fire Bureau, Design Institutes and Contractors qualified for Fire Fighting system design and installation.
Acceptable command of written and spoken English skill
Strong negotiation, communication and presentation skills;
Excellent interpersonal abilities and a strong drive for results;
Team player with high level of resilience and pressure management
Accept frequent traveling;
