As a Human Resources Manager for the Personal, Home and Healthcare organization, this role is a key partner to the business unit managers and employees based in the corporate offices in Brecksville, Ohio. In addition to implementing and driving key HR processes under the direction of the Senior HR Business Partner, this position will handle all day-to-day HR responsibilities including compensation, employee development and employee relations.


  • Delivers programs, training, processes, compensation, and systems needed to achieve the business objectives.

  • Manages HR programs, processes, systems including incentive nominations, salary planning, performance management, talent reviews, etc..

  • Supports managers managing performance issues.

  • Supports high potential employees on development plans and career paths.

  • Handles ethics and employee relations investigations. Escalates as needed legal issues of consequence to the Sr. HR BP.

  • Proactively suggests, implements activities for each group based on varying needs.

  • Interviews candidates and assists with manager/employee onboarding

  • Handles general inquiries such as benefits, pay changes, etc.


  • Bachelor’s degree required, SHRM certification a plus

  • 5 years of HR experience including compensation, training, recruiting

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Ability to handle and prioritize multiple projects

  • Microsoft Office expertise including Excel and PowerPoint

  • Highly resourceful and flexible in accomplishing tasks and solving problems; self-starter

  • Strong organizational skills; detail oriented

  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and/or time constraints yet maintain accuracy in work output

  • Ability to travel up to 15%
