To deliver annual top line Revenue growth of 6%

Summary of Responsibilities

Responsible for identifying, evaluating and coordinating global and regional sales and marketing opportunities and initiatives. Has responsibility for operating income growth in the business segment. Defines growth opportunities in terms of new product developments, target regions and target customer segments and leads the clear execution and delivery of these targets. Set pricing and margin targets in order to reach financial targets. Create personal relationships with the decision makers at key global customers in order to maximize Lubrizol's position.

What you will do:

  • Implement the business strategy through strong project management with a sense of urgency to create a competitive advantage for Lubrizol in its targeted segments.

  • Influence and shape longer term business strategy within Home Care.

  • Maintain the Global Opportunity pipeline to manage execution of key projects.

  • Lead the business team and foster good communication, team work, and alignment.

  • Work together with the technical leaders to ensure proper/timely completion of customer focused projects which leverage our technical competencies.

  • Manage the performance and development of employees and ensure we have the right talent and organizational capabilities.

  • Keep close contact with the industry, stay abreast of trends, maintain critical relationships.

  • Take necessary action to improve the overall marketing and sales capabilities of our organization.


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Engineering, Physics, or Business

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in international sales, marketing and/or business management in specialty chemistry

  • Strong knowledge of the Personal and HomeCare market

  • Willing and ability to travel as required by the demands of a global role

  • Demonstrated abilities and successes in implementing new product, solution, technology and value selling programs

  • Experience of dealing with senior commercial and technical decision makers

  • Effective leadership in complex organizations with extensive span of control

  • Work in team, results oriented and structured environment

  • Experience in the management of cross-functional and/or international teams
