Vesta, a Lubrizol company is a contract manufacturer that specializes in producing thermoplastic extruded tubing and components for medical devices that are used in hospitals internationally. We strongly believe that it takes quality people to make quality products that are so important for everyday use, and we are always looking to expand our Vesta family. Vesta is located in Corona California which is located in Riverside County. We less than 30 miles away from the beach and Disneyland.

Vesta Corona, California location has a class 8 certified clean room, which is 17,000 square feet. We have 14 extrusion lines as well as co-ex lines. We are able to run multiple extruders which can produce a two layer, stripes and three layer extrusion.

POSITION SUMMARY: Under direction of the Sr. Financial Analyst, providing support to the accounting department with a focus on the accounts payable and accounts receivable and other duties as assigned.


Shift Hours: Hours may vary (8:00 am to 5:00 pm M-F)

Number and Length of breaks: 1-hr unpaid meal period & two 15-minute paid breaks

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Duties and responsibilities are functions of the job and should not reflect the special talents or performance of an employee.

  • Responsible for posting and processing of accounts receivable payment, including, but not limited to electronic payments, check payments and other. Posting check clearings through bank account and estimating cash flow impact. Performing research as needed and following up with late paying customers and preparing credit review report for manager review. Maintaining all documentation associated with the process.

  • Responsible for accounts payable processing including matching received orders to invoices and purchase orders. Processing check runs and mailing payments. Posting payables and estimating cash flow impact. Researching payment issuing and staying current on all invoicing. Maintaining all documentation associated with the process.

  • Responsible for multiple general ledger account reconciliation.

  • Cash management (processing check clearance, customer pre-payments, outstanding check, PO monitoring and other)

  • Assist month end processing. Review expense accounts and provide explanation for large variations.

  • Assist with weekly inventory management.

  • Produce daily sales report.

  • Serve as primary backup for bi-weekly payroll processing.

  • Other duties as required.

Work Experience Requirements and Training Guidelines:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience processing accounts payable and receivable.

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience working within GAAP guidelines.

  • Hands on approach to accomplishing objectives

  • Willing to adapt and learn areas outside of general accounting

  • Working in a manufacturing environment preferred, but not required

Computer Software:

  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills, including other basic formula functions
