Job Description

Job Title: Logistics Supervisor, South Asia

Division: Lubrizol Advanced Materials India Pvt. Ltd.

Location: Dahej, Gujarat

Reports To: Supply Chain Manager, South Asia

Summary of Responsibilities

Supervise, ensure and co-ordinates activities of shipping viz. issuing, receiving, and warehouse inventory levels are sufficiently maintained with emphasis on accuracy, timeliness and services.

Essential Job Functions

  • To adhere to safe working practices at all the warehouse operations. Encourage safe working practices for warehouse staff and safe handling and movement of goods.

  • Ensure that all the materials receipt, material issue and storage activities are conducted as per Lubrizol standard operating process and in stipulated time.

  • Ensure inventory accuracy during day to day operations.

  • Maintains inventory record by conducting regular physical counts, information of discrepancies to relevant stakeholders

  • To make all relevant SAP entries for Material receipt/issue/dispatch as per Lubrizol processes and maintaining record of the same

  • Coordinate with Production/QC/CSR for Raw material receipt, Material issue, Finished good dispatches & Sample dispatches.

  • Ensure that all the finished goods dispatch activities are carried out as per Lubrizol standard operating process.

  • Coordination with external agency for arranging transportation facility for dispatch.

  • To maintain all the records/documents/performance reports related to logistic activities and making it available as and when required

Skills, Qualifications, Experience, Special Physical Requirements (if any):

  • Commerce graduate with Diploma in Supply Chain Management (Preferred)

  • 5-7 years in Supply Chain function

  • Knowledge of conventional management and warehousing fundamentals

  • Experienced in warehouse operations / management including goods receipt, Goods issue and dispatch activity.

  • Good verbal and written communication skills.

  • Good interpersonal skills.

  • Proficiency in SAP/MS office.

  • Ability to work in a team.

  • Ability to retrieve, analyse, and input data
