Job Title : Manufacturing Manager
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Manufacturing Manager provides overall leadership at the Gavà facility being responsible for leading and coordinating the 3 production units, QC, M&E and Plant Technical Support.
Job Functions :
Develop and execute strategy for the area of responsibility following quality (ISO9001/ISO22716/OTC) and safety standards (PRL/Industrial Safety/LZ std) to maximize the process efficiency and productivity.
Review and update manufacturing practices in accordance with new or changing policies, standards, regulations or laws.
Manage the workforce and plant assets to meet customer demand and goals set by the business.
Manage programs for continual improvement of all departments under responsibility jointly with the rest of the Operations area.
Manage capital and department expense spending according to budget.
Manage personnel related issues (career development, succession planning, staffing, performance reviews, discipline, etc.) for direct reports.
Develop a culture that is responsive to the manufacturing environment and business needs through team work and personal responsibility and ownership of the process.
Knowledge, skills and qualifications :
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
Minimum of 5 years in a manufacturing leadership role with a preference for experience in Cosmetic or GMP manufacturing and managing interdisciplinary teams.
International experience leading different teams is an asset.
Expertise on ISO9001:2015, ISO22716:2008, OTC and HSES.
Fluency in English and Spanish is a must.
Proven ability to effectively lead with minimal supervision, demonstrating an entrepreneurial attitude.
Proficient in leading the plant, providing direction, support and development for manufacturing teams across the plant.
Proven communication and networking skills.
Proven PC skills, including MS Office software
Must demonstrate enthusiasm, a sense of urgency, attention to detail, commitment and follow-through while maintaining confidentiality and meeting deadlines.
