Role: Program Manager

Location: Derbyshire / Homebased with regular UK Travel

Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum

We are looking to recruit a Program Manager to manage 3 Chemical Management Programs across the UK. You will lead a small, diverse teams across 3 sites, provide technical support for our programs, and work closely with our customers to develop the programs further.

In addition to this you will take a key role in developing business with Key Accounts of Industrial customers across the EMEA region.

You will have technical knowledge as well as possessing commercial insight to be a success in this exciting and varied role.

The successful candidate will:

  • Manage Chemical Management Programs, at sites in Peterborough, Shrewsbury and Stafford

  • Oversee the line management of Site Management across the three programs, meaning regular travel to visit the sites and your teams.

  • Be responsible for the growth of Chemtool products and service business across the 3 UK sites.

  • Account management of Industrial customers in the EMEA region with targets for developing business within the geographical locations of the Chemical Management Accounts

  • Candidate must be able to quickly obtain a working knowledge of each facility’s chemical processes, as well as comply with all environmental, health, and safety policies.

To be successful you will be:

  • Accredited degree in Chemistry, Engineering, business and/or five years of job related experience are required

  • Be able to demonstrate that you are a strong leader, with experience of Line Managing staff.

  • Awareness of Environmental, and Health and Safety Policies.

  • Good interpersonal skills are required to lead strong working relationships with staff, customers, technical teams, and Chemtool management teams.

  • A flexible schedule and the ability to travel, 40-60% on average.

  • Must be self-directed and able to proceed on work assignments unsupervised.
