To support the Performance Coatings Group (PCG) EMEAI, reporting to the Business Support Manager PCG EMEAI, with various business activities for PCG EMEAI, mainly encompassing competitive pricing monitoring, opportunity management and tracking, new customer set up plus supplementary requests, identifying opportunities to improve the associated processes, plus any ad-hoc requests.

To communicate with the whole organisation associated with the PCG program. This includes daily/weekly interaction with Account Managers and Regional Sales Managers, plus Sales, Marketing, Technical, Customer Service, Master Data Team, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Product Managers, Purchasing & Finance.

Responsibilities/ Accountabilities:

  • Provide total support in the setting up of new customers for PCG, completing all new Customer Master Requests (CRM) set up in a timely manner, ensuring information is gathered prior to set up, being the lead for PCG EMEAI in the new Customer Request process introduction

  • Maintain and champion the EMEAI competitive database, gathering information from visits reports, e-mails, market information, etc.

  • Gather competitor price information from various sources, working with the management team to identify further needs/enhancements

  • Promote and maintain the business critical, Tactical Growth Index (TGI) opportunities database, supporting the EMEAI Account managers directly, also liaising with other global regions, to enable us to grow the EMEAI business encouraging best practice

  • Monthly tracking of all TGI parameters, to measure number of new opportunities, value delivered this year/next year, progress on top 10, value of opportunities converted to sales

  • Provide TGI analysis for Account Managers’ scorecard



GCSE Level in English and Maths with grade B as a minimum

2/3 A Levels, preferably with one being in Business Studies or Economics


Excellent computer skills are essential for this role and include Outlook, Excel and other Microsoft apps, SAP/BW (Business Warehouse) SAP CRM 9or similar databases)

The ability to work with minimum supervision using own initiative

Experience of utilising organisational, prioritising and planning skills on a regular and self-starting basis.

Good written and verbal communication skills, including telephone skills
