Job Description – Account Manager (BlazeMaster - South Region)

 

Reports To:         Segment Lead, BlazeMaster and New business development

Division:              Lubrizol Advanced Materials India Private Limited

Location:             Bangalore, India

 

Summary of Responsibilities

 

The purpose of this role is to grow the BlazeMaster business at our licensee (Key Account) and drive growth of BlazeMaster Fire Protection systems in Southern India.

 

Deliverable-

  1. Grow the BlazeMaster business at our licensee- Key Account
  2. Growth of BlazeMaster business in Southern India
  3. Manage strategic accounts

 

Essential Job Functions  

 

  • Growth of BlazeMaster business at key Account
    • Develop alignment with Key Account on key customers to target, market strategy and execution
    • Develop compelling business case to convince Key Account to invest in the business
    • Prepare accurate forecast, run SNOP process for alignment between end customers, distributors, Key Account and Lubrizol
    • Protect Lubrizol’s interest in the relationship with external partners and during contract negotiation
       

  • Growth of BlazeMaster business in South India

    • Develop and quantify BlazeMaster’s value proposition over traditional material
    • Work with Key Account to get required approvals from local fire authorities, supply product on time to customers, joint visit to customers
    • Establish and build relationship with key influencers like Fire consultants, Contractors, Builders, Local fire officers
    • Build and develop key strategic accounts. Organize to grow business at the key accounts in line with our BU strategic goals
    • Maintain opportunity database and projects pipeline to manage execution of key opportunities and projects
    • Responsible for collecting market information and communicating current and emerging needs for target customers to drive value proposition development

 

Skills, Qualifications, Experience, Special Requirements: 

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in a science discipline from an accredited university
  • MBA in marketing preferred
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Building Products industry, preferably in Fire Protection companies’ in Business development or sales role
  • Prior experience of managing a key account
  • Excellent interpersonal abilities and a strong drive for results.
  • Demonstrated abilities and successes in implementing new product, solution, technology and value selling programs
