Division: Lubrizol Advanced Materials India Pvt. Ltd.

Location: Vikhroli West, Mumbai, India

Reporting to: Business Director, TempRite, Engineered Polymers, South Asia


The Market Development Manager (CORZAN) is responsible for analyzing and defining the marketing strategy for market of South Asia and East Africa. S/He has responsibility for profit growth in the market segment and create awareness about Lubrizol Corzan industrial Products in India & the defined region specially focusing on industrial applications by creating awareness about usage of CPVC piping products for industrial usage thereby developing market for Corzan.


Market Planning & Development:

  • Develop a deeper market understanding of the market segments in the given geography.

  • Lead effort to analyze market, market trends and make recommendations concerning product Strategy

  • Identify, generate and capture more value from both new and existing solutions with both new and existing customers.

  • Organize and participate in events, seminars to enhance brand and generate leads.

  • Develop Lubrizol’s basis for differentiation and competitive advantage in focus segments.

Product Management

  • Launch new products, gain early market acceptance, and accelerate penetration.

  • Get the product specified in different manufacturing/ industrial facilities industries by in depth product discussion with key decision makers such as Project Managers, consultants etc.

  • Accelerate mindset change from selling products to selling unique, market facing solution by conducting awareness and educational activities.

  • Work with specifiers to get approvals for more applications

Customer Relationship Building

  • Develop strong relationships with key and new personnel at customer technical departments to better understand end-user market knowledge and help convert to unmet customer needs

and market dynamics.

  • Responsive to the customers’ needs and follow through on all aspects of request, both written and verbal.

  • Act as technical consultant representative to the customer

  • Present to various groups within the customer’s organization when needed.

  • Educate the customers for the benefits of CORZAN products over and above other piping solutions in industrial applications

Stakeholder / People Management

  • Direct contact with people of all levels within a company, with a specific focus on working with the procurement and engineering groups, in order to secure product specifications for Lubrizol’s products.

  • Partner with marketing to develop selling cases to communicate value proposition of projects and products with customers.

Requirements - Education, Experience & Skills:

  • Graduate in Chemical or polymer Engineering with marketing management background.

  • Minimum 4 years in the field of sales and marketing in related segment

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to travel domestically and/or internationally

  • Demonstrated abilities and successes in implementing value selling programs

  • Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver professional presentations
