To support Lubrizol’s Life Sciences business in EMEA we are looking for a Marketing Specialist (m/f/gn) located at our office in Rosenheim (near Munich).

The Marketing Specialist will be part of our small and committed regional business team supporting our ambitious growth agenda by creating and executing Marketing Communication plans, contributing to Marketing strategies and delivering business intelligence allowing us to focus our activities on value added markets, applications and products in the world of complex Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices.

What the role will include…

  • Responsible for the development and execution of regional communication plans including promotional literature, creative briefs, project recommendations, newsletters, direct marketing and presentations (digital and print, social media, Webinars, …)

  • Work with external agencies and the marketing communications manager to create, maintain, and distribute promotional literature related to new product launches, market-facing formulated solutions or other promotional activities

  • Keep all product listings for the business up-to-date in the various databases in trade journals and industry publications

  • Ensure that all locally-developed creative marketing plans and materials undergo brand review, adhere to strict brand guidelines and are in line with Global MARCOM Initiatives

  • Work with marketing managers, external agencies and global marketing communications manager to coordinate and execute all aspects of events in the region all the way through to sales follow-up

  • Execute the day to day delivery of email marketing campaigns, e-newsletters, invitations etc.

  • Monitor all processes and implement improvements to enhance marketing productivity

  • Assist with market insights and trends, information on new market/business opportunities, competitive intelligence and pricing strategy, to support a regional business planning, that allows the commercial team to focus their activities on value added markets, applications and products

  • Assist the regional commercial team with pipeline monitoring

We are looking for someone who has…

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing with min. 3 years commercial work experience

  • MARCOM experience (preferable in Healthcare and/or Pharma) working with internal and external customers

  • High degree of organization and self-motivation

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Analytical thinking

  • Fluent in English

  • Ability to develop good working relationships with internal and external customers
