Marketing Manager, Electronics - North America (Remote)

Summary of Responsibilities
As North America Marketing Manager, you are responsible for driving growth of the Electronics segment by identifying and assessing new innovation opportunities that are significant, valuable and defendable. You will be accountable for assessing regional market opportunities, marketing strategies, marketing plans and specific leadership initiatives that would position Lubrizol for sustainable profitable growth.
Essential Job Functions
Develop and execute electronics NA marketing strategy in alignment with global strategy.
Understand market trends, analyze and segment the electronics market, assess market potential, build differentiated leadership position in the target sub-segments.
Formulate and execute OEM engagement plan and maintain key OEM relationship.
Develop new electronics customers and identify new opportunities.
Identify innovation opportunities, create value through market & customer intimacy. Lead the innovation projects and convert to commercial products.
Develop and implement value based pricing strategy and support the sales team in implementation for the region. Accelerate mindset change from selling products to selling unique, market facing solutions.
Work closely with cross region and cross functional team to launch new products, gain early market acceptance, and accelerate penetration.
Identify gaps in our current capabilities and develop action plans to address them.
Accountable for overall North America electronics market segment performance and profitability.
Skills, Qualifications, Experience, Special Physical Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, chemistry, or engineering.
Minimum of 10 years of sales, marketing or business management experience; including:
Successfully demonstrated B2B market development.
Experience with new customer and new application development.
Value chain analysis, customer needs analysis, definition of value proposition, customer mapping, marketing positioning, and a track record of success.
Demonstrated success at developing and implementing effective business strategies
Experience in developing comprehensive marketing plans.
Experience with international markets.
Electronics market expert with at least 5 years of experience in consumer electronics.
Travel 60%, domestic and international.
Strong negotiation and presentation skill.
