Production Scheduler


  • The Korea Production Scheduler position is accountable for managing the daily scheduling activities and raw material inventory management of TPU (Thermoplastic Polyurethane) in Korea.

  • The Production Scheduler is also responsible for finished goods planning and inventory control for other Business Units including materials imported directly from Lubrizol affiliates and third-party suppliers to meet the business requirement.


  • Work out production scheduling for TPU production based on the demand from planner

  • Work out raw material demand and supply management based on the production planning

  • Control raw material inventory level and issue the purchase order to vendors to fulfill the production schedule

  • Review and follow up the requests for stock transfers and sales order from other Lubrizol plants and planners

  • Issue the Purchase Requisition for directly imported materials and follow up delivery schedule and other issue related to the order

  • Coordinate the product availability for volume and schedule with 3rd party suppliers to fulfill the customer orders

  • Maintain the safety stock based on business requirements

  • Coordinate with production team, logistics team, customer experience team and procurement team to handle day to day scheduling issues

  • Handle monthly closing for raw material and finished goods purchasing from 3rd party suppliers

  • Process SAP transaction related to production scheduling, raw material planning, etc.

  • Provide backup support of other planners when necessary

  • Other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS (education, experience, competencies and specific job requirements):

1. Education:

  • Bachelor degree or above

2. Experience:

  • Minimum 34 years experience in multi-national companies in the function of supply chain, such as production planning, inventory control, logistics management, etc.

  • Experience in Chemical or related industry is preferred

3. Knowledge, technical/professional skill:

  • Manage multiple complex tasks effectively/efficiently

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • A good team player

  • Have good knowledge about supply chain

  • Have knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office software

4. Language Skill:

  • Fluent in English
