Job Title : Lab Technician (contactor)
Reporting to (Job Title): Technical Manager, Life Science Asia Pacific
Reporting to the Job Holder (subordinate) : none
The primary purpose of the role is to carry out lab projects, perform lab tasks and experiments, run tests/equipment, record results and input data into an electronic system according to lab SOPs.
RESPONSIBILITIES / ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Perform laboratory work in accordance to project protocol, procedures or as discussed with / outlined by the requester
Provide trouble-shooting support during lab work conduction to meet the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers
Prepare technical reports with highlights on key results and enter electronically upon the completion of the laboratory work
Be responsible for the maintenance / operation safety of lab equipment. Write/update Standard Operating Procedures for lab equipment
Ensure compliance of safety procedures and good housekeeping practices. Notify management of incidents and learning occurrences immediately
Be involved in administrative and technical support functions necessary in ensuring the smooth day to day operations of the lab
REQUIREMENTS – EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS:
A minimum of a bachelor degree in Pharmacy or Pharmaceutics. Master Degree is preferred.
1 year to 3 years of working experience in Pharmacy or related industries, in the role of R&D or relevant science position.
Understand pharma technology and familiar with excipient function and equipment.
Good math skills.
Able to work independently and also in a team environment and follow detailed project plans.
Able to manage multiple tasks and completes them on schedule.
Good Chinese and English communication skills, and capable of writing report and presentation in English.
