Regional Marketing Manager, PCG


The position will interface across functions to facilitate and lead business initiatives that result in differentiating Lubrizol as a supplier in the coatings target markets and is accountable for developing a comprehensive understanding of current market trends and customer needs that result in product offerings and value propositions company can offer to drive innovation project profitable business growth.


  • Lead performance coatings AP marketing team

  • Lead the development and execution of marketing strategies for PCG AP

  • Perform market segment and business opportunity analysis to provide market insights, trends and competitor status through market studies

  • Develop business case for target markets for Performance Coatings to become differentiated leader

  • Develop growth plans by understanding the market/customer’s needs and business

  • Identify product development needs, evaluate productiveness and marketing initiatives ROI

  • Identify any gaps with current capabilities and develop action plans to address those gaps

  • Lead and facilitate business development growth projects.

  • Interaction with global innovation team to drive regional innovation projects

  • Tailor marketing activities to regional needs throughout Asia Pacific

  • Develop and supervise regional marketing budget REQUIREMENTS (education, experience, competencies and specific job requirements):

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, chemistry, or chemical engineering.

  • Minimum 5 years of strategic marketing and business development experience.

  • Experience in Coatings (Graphic Arts) market segment. (Raw material supplier, Formulator)

  • Commercial development acumen including value chain analysis, customer needs analyses, value proposition.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Demonstrated leadership and team facilitating skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to work in a matrix organization and business team environment.

  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills in order to drive results through cross functional environments.

  • Travel required 30-40%
