ACCOUNTABILITIY:

This position is accountable for delivering supply chain performance for Lubrizol Advanced Materials (LZAM) Asia Pacific, and organization    development of supply chain team based in China and Korea.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

   This position covers two roles, which are Supply Chain Manager, LZAM Asia Pacific and Supply Chain Manager, China & Korea

 

Supply Chain Manager, LZAM Asia Pacific

  • Formulate and implement short-term (12 months) and mid-term (1-3 years) supply chain strategies for LZAM Asia Pacific, aligning with global supply chain strategies for LZAM businesses
  • Take initiative in continuous improvement of supply chain processes & system such as business processes, procedures, data management to contribute to Operations and LZAM business objectives
  • Manage the interface with all relevant stakeholders such as business team, global supply chain team, and other functional teams to solve issues effectively

 

Supply Chain Manager, China & Korea

  • Deliver supply chain performance including but not limited to:
    • Cost:  operational cost, logistics & warehouse costs
    • Customer Service:  on-time delivery performance
    • Material Management:  production planning, forecast, inventory
    • Quality:  customer complaints
    • Logistics and delivery performance
    • HSE and compliance in terms of suppliers, customs clearance, import/export, etc.
    • S&OP

  • Review and update processes & practices at country level, i.e. China & Korea, in accordance with internal policies and standards, as well as external regulations and laws
  • Manage and develop supply chain team in China & Korea, including hiring, performance & career management, individual and team capability enhancement, succession, team culture cultivation, etc.

 

REQUIREMENTS – EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS:

  • Education Background:
    • Bachelor’s degree or above in Engineering and Science
    • Supply chain related certificate is a plus (i.e. APICS certificate, etc.)

  • Technical Skills:

    • ERP system (SAP Preferred) knowledge and experience
    • Production planning, inventory management, distribution network.
    • Business process Improvement

  • Other Experiences Preferred

    • Minimum 15 years of working experience in supply chain or relevant fields in MNCs
    • Minimum 3 years of experience of managing teams (or people) at country or regional level
    • Sound judgement and acumen for critical decision making
    • Self-motivated, and be proactive to drive for results
    • Authentic leadership style
