Job Title: Senior Chemical Technician
Salary: Up to £30,000 dependent upon skills and experience, plus an excellent benefits package
Location: Based at on site at Shrewsbury, Monday to Friday
We are looking to recruit a Senior Chemical Managment Technician who is looking for their next step in their career, and is looking to manage a team, to be based on site of a key client.
In this role you will be responsible for the day to day management of the team on site, a key point of contact to the team and have the ability to report on all activity to both Internal and External Customers.
Manage and report all onsite activity’s to both the customer and Chemtool
Implement process improvement and identify cost reduction projects across Chemtool and Caterpillar
Develop new testing regimes to maximize fluid life and condition.
Develop and manage cleanout and top up regime at the customers facility
Report fluid usage and costs
Be involved in system cleanouts when required.
Liaise with Tier 2 Suppliers
Manage on-site team and cover holidays where required
Conduct new product testing. Required expertise/Knowledge/Skills:
Proven experience in Manufacturing and or Industrial Chemicals required.
Qualified to degree level in engineering discipline (Chemical / Mechanical) is desirable.
Knowledge or experience of process improvements.
Strong communication skills, with previous experience of working in a customer facing role
