Director, Diversity and Inclusion (D&I)

A key focus of this global role is to determine strategic diversity and inclusion objectives that drive business results. The incumbent will achieve those objectives globally by developing D&I programs, and implementing processes, procedures and structure.
Job Responsibilities :
Develop strategy and best practices
Lead D&I strategy and implementation priorities to drive measurable change in the company.
Partner with Lubrizol divisions and BRGs to establish D&I strategy and implementation priorities.
Engage and influence senior leaders on D&I strategies and corporate and divisional deliverables.
Provide expertise through research and benchmarking on best practices, recommending strategies and solutions in support of new programs.
Understand all legal requirements, as well as cultural and global issues related to D&I and ensure alignment with evolving D&I perspectives.
Partner with key stakeholders and external organizations to ensure all policies, programs and practices effectively support D&I strategy.
Develop D&I tools and metrics to ensure D&I initiatives are effective.
Lead for Business Resource Groups (BRG)
Establish strategic direction for BRGs.
Motivate and inspire BRGs to deliver innovative solutions that deliver business value.
Establish organization sponsorship of BRGs.
Ensure continued engagement and integration among BRGs, divisions, and company leaders.
Integrate BRG leadership into LZ Talent Management programs.
Establish and improve BRG processes and tools to support the overall BRG mission.
Conduct quarterly meetings and other conferences.
Manage BRG budget.
Measure impact of BRGs.
Leverage diversity and inclusion programs to position Lubrizol as a recognized diversity and inclusion leader in the industry, in the community, and globally. These programs may include but are not limited to Talent Management programs, Business Resource Groups, diversity-focused events, and partnerships/outreach with local, regional, nationwide, and global, organizations.
Manage external survey submissions, working extensively across HR and other teams to gather and integrate data.
Leverage industry partners, web-site, social media and other communication channels to maintain positive and consistent D&I brand internally and externally.
Advocate and represent Lubrizol externally in various settings demonstrating commitment and value of our D&I strategy and initiatives.
Passionate, relentless internal advocate of D&I.
Relationships and Partnerships
Create and sustain strategic relationships with talent acquisition and talent development, amongst others.
Create and sustain strategic relationships with external organizations to ensure best practices and assist in achieving our D&I objectives.
Work with Lubrizol Foundation to ensure alignment of corporate support.
Develop relationships with employees, ensuring solid awareness of the D&I views of our employees.
Partner with HR Directors and Managers to establish and build D&I programs.
Partner with Procurement to support Supplier Inclusion.
Partner with Global Communication for branding, advertisement and marketing.
Partner IS to develop necessary technology tools in support of our D&I initiatives.
Program Design and Program and Project Management
Design and conduct D&I learning and development sessions.
Manage YWCA award selection and recognition programs.
Manage YWCA Bootcamp, Quest and Momentum development programs.
Manage EEO-1 Reporting and Compliance.
Manage the Affirmative Action Programs throughout the US.
The successful candidate will have four major competencies :

A proven track record of accomplishment in leading organizational initiatives, building programs, managing change, influencing people at all levels, having an executive presence, and engaging diverse groups of stakeholders in a complex organization.
Education Requirement :
- Bachelor’s degree with minimum of five years related, progressive leadership experience
